I like the story of Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton. I'd really enjoyed reading the story, the complicated situation and, nevertheless, the wonderful quation.
'The romantics would call this a love story, the cynics would call it a tragedy. In my mind it's both, and no matter how you choose to view it in the endd, it does not change the fact it involves a great deal of my life and the path I've choosen to follow.'
'When she left three weeks later, she took a piece of him and the rest of the summer with her.'
'She remembered sitting beneath the tree on a hot July day with someone who looked at her with a longing that took everything else away. And it had been at that moment that she'd fallen in love.'
'He looked at her. She was pretty still, with thick hair and soft eyes, and she moves so gracefully that it almost seemed as though she were gliding. [...] "A living poem" had always been the words that come to mind when he tried ri describe her to others.'
'And for just a fleeting moment, a tiny wisp of time that hung in the air like fireflies in summer skies, she wondered if she was in love with him again.'
'Poetry, she thought, wasn't written to be analyzed; it was meant to inspire without reason, to touch without understanding'
'I didn't plan on falling in love with you, and I doubt if you planned on falling in love with me. But once we met, it was clear that neither of us could control what was happening to us. We fell in love, despite our differences, and once we did, something rare and beautiful was created. For me, love like this has happened only once, and that's why every minute we spent together has been seared in my memory. I'll never forget a single moment of it.'
'[...] But if we never meet again and this truly good-bye, I know we will see each other again in another life. We will find each other again and maybe the stars will have changed, and we will not only love each other in that time, but for all the times we've had before.'
'You are the answer to every prayer I've offered, You are a song, a dream, a whisper, and I don't know how I could have lived without you for as long as I have. I love you Allie, more than you can ever imagine. I always have and I always will.'
